I logged onto Citi to make a payment this morning and was prompted to verify annual income and mortgage/rent payment. The info was out of date so I updated the numbers and hit submit. I made my payment, looked at account history and then the a new pop-up came up asking if the income I provided earlier in the session was correct. seemed odd.

We've had a few large home expenses that I used on our Citi Card, it has a really good rate so I haven't been that concerned with paying it down but focusing on other expenses. I thought maybe they were concerned with our balance etc.

Is that normal? or am I just overthinking it?
