Just ticketed an ex CAI DONE5, however, I'm traveling CAI- XXX- CPT as my first two segments. Unfortunately QR only sells CAI – DOH – CPT as a married segment that shows no availability currently in A/D class. Therefore I was forced to use BA and fly CAI – LHR – CPT and incur nearly $1000 more per ticket in taxes and surcharges by using BA and going through LHR. I could simply make my first few segments CAI – AMM – DOH – CPT, however, I am at 16 segments and QF cannot price the ticket without ending in CAI even though the phone agents agree that I can change the ticket later on so that I don't and in CAI.

Has anyone else had this type of issue? Although the base fare has risen about $200 the US$ has also strengthened quite a bit so I can still change without losing a whole lot.
