Hi,

My wife and I use the point to redeem a JAL first class ticket. When we ask the agent about adding an infant on lap ticket, they price out $1040 for our baby traveling with us. I would like to know if we can just buy her a roundtrip economy ticket (only $ 600), instead of paying $1000 first class infant on lap seat.
Is it OK if we buy her economy seat but she ends up seating with us (Car seat of course) all the time?
