Seat maps lie. It is possible to buy F seats without assigning a seat. What happens if you try and buy 10 F seats on your flight?

I maintain they are being conservative with U systemwide to avoid "oopsie, we need to downgrade you" if they sub in a 12 seat 738 for a 16 seat 738, for as long as they are in the middle of the fleet changeover.
