Thinking of jumping on the ex-Egypt fare, but prefer to do it as transit. Would CAI be good for this? I was thinking of HBE as safer than CAI, but I'm guessing it might not be set up for int'l-int'l transit, whereas I think CAI is.

Anyone know if I fly QR on an award DOH-CAI (or DOH-HBE), if they can check me in for the CAI-DOH (or HBE-DOH) trip in DOH? Obviously the two flights would be on different PNRs. Would flying in from DOH and back out on the same day raise suspicions in Egypt? Or I could do the inbound award on EY from AUH, which might make it harder to check in with QR before landing in CAI (or HBE) but likely seems less suspicious.
