Right, but those who are doing several back-to-backs at HNL just to earn thousands of TPs are surly are a very small and negligible number of flyers. Most of those flying to HNL (or to other leisure destinations) are probably flying for similar reasons than us. Always wanted to see Hawai'i and then tried to optimise TP/miles/Avios earning for thoese flight.
BTW: In German fora you can find people who do ex-DUBs (ex-CPH...) to HNL (LAX, SFO...) on LH/LX/UA... optimised for Miles&More earing and to get status on Lufthansa...
