Per the thread wiki on Delta In-Flight Meal/Food Service: The Definitive Thread — 2016 Edition, the D1 redeyes "have a lighter one course offering."

Besides the burger noted above, it is also sometimes a hot sandwich, and I've had enchiladas (which in hindsight was a poor choice right before trying to get some sleep...)
