See my added emphasis in the rules:

Code:
      CHANGES BEFORE DEPARTURE
A/ CHANGES ARE PERMITTED PROVIDED TICKETED POINTS
REMAIN THE SAME. IF THE FIRST FLIGHT COUPON IS
BEING CHANGED AND THE FARE LEVEL HAS INCREASED
SINCE THE TICKET ISSUANCE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
THE OLD AND NEW FARE BE CHARGED.
Wait. Wow. So hypothetically, suppose you got a xONEx ticket where the fare has since doubled, going XXX-YYY-something-something-something-XXX. You're concerned that you'll be charged the new double fare, and were thinking of flying XXX-YYY and only then calling in to change remaining flights. If what you're saying is true, you can call right now and modify it any which way you want, as long as you do not touch XXX-YYY?
