Who is in front?
Under the rule as applied to my reservation, I would be. I booked first.
Under the rule as applied to Joe's reservation on 12/8 when he goes on the list, Joe would be, he is in a higher fare class.
Is the logic that those booked prior to 12/5 will be treated as having an infinitely high fare class so they clear before all those booked 12/5 and beyond at that tier level? Then those booked 12/5 and beyond will be sorted by fare class?
I have to have some fare class ranking for the processor to work, it is either at the ceiling or floor of the fare class sort.
Given the way the system works now, as a queue, I presume then people will be appended to the queue in order up until 12/5, then after that point people will be inserted based on tier and fare class first but after those already on it with the same tier level?
What about those who make a change to their reservation in some way after 12/5 that boots them off the list and they need to be re-added to the queue? Will they go on based on the new ranking or now inserted back based on their booking date if it was pre 12/5?

I just read this again, and I was incorrect.

You booked an R fare for 12/20 - which means you are eligible for upgrade at 120 hours or on 12/15

Joe booked an H fare for 12/20, which means he is eligible for upgrade at booking - 12/8

Joe gets upgraded first because he was eligible first, period.

However, lets change the scenario to you bought an R fare on 11/11 and Joe bought an V fare on 12/8.

You both are eligible for 120 hour upgrades. Because you bought first AND bought prior to the 12/5 change, you are first.
