And if they need to push something on their end to enable the EMV slot anyway once everything's rung up, how much time is it really saving? It's not like online authorization is that slow in the US if the network connection is fast enough.
Honestly given the situation of EMV in the US at the moment, who knows. I think the Quick Chip nonsense is waste of time anyways.
