I was declined for this card two months ago (applied online, got auto decline email, followed up with call and agent said they "resubmitted application", but no dice).

EQ score is low 700. Any tips on how to improve approval chances ?

It is my impression that CIBC is more "loose" when it comes to approving cc applications, right ?
