Huh, kind of surprised they didn't throw that guy off the flight then and make him rebook. I wouldn't go as far as to say he incited panic, but frantically yelling he needs off and lies about a family emergency (disgusting) is no joke.

And like others said, how exactly did the gf get on the jet bridge to get on? The GA almost had to have been trying to get the gf on (not involved in the lie though) and the supervisor must have intervened. What a weird situation. If my gf was missing the flight I wouldn't even board personally til she was with me.
