Hmm......really can't see the Prime Minister thing happening. No way !! In fact, I'd say that's about as fanciful a notion as someone with zero political experience (and best known for an ego-boosting TV series) being elected President of the USA.

But you're absolutely right about clicks & exposure, and the way in which so much 'news' is today disseminated and prioritised by social media - as also highlighted by Often1 above.

IIRC, I once contributed to the Celebs on BA Master Thread, and can remember thinking at the time just how attractive a thoroughly pointless thread can become to so many of us (currently around 340K views and 900 individual posts on that one .....)
