Probably no - but impossible for me to say given the information above ...

To my knowledge there aren't any flights from CAN to LHR (assuming you mean Guangzhou) on BA.

If you mean XXX - CAN - PVG/PEK/CTU - LHR, where XXX is somewhere outside China and not the UK, then yes, this is fine, as long as your total travel time inside China is less than 24 hours. Also fine if you are flying XXX - CAN - HKG - LHR, as long as XXX is not HKG.
