It is very easy to understand - us folk at the front are paying BIG CASH for privacy, exclusivity, and service. In economy you are paying for the budget experience.
If you feel there are insufficient toilets in economy you can (1) pay for business class and / or (2) complain to the airline and recommend they refit with extra facilities. Of course the airline will argue that by having extra seats they can sell you an even cheaper economy fare.
I do understand this, of course. Although, honestly, can you really justify paying your "BIG CASH" on such a short hops as HBA-MEL? I cannot... As I said, I travel in business anything over 3 hours, but don't think it is worth the extra cash on flights shorter than that... And just to make you smile about my rant - I was actually sitting in business on that particular flight (someone else paid for it
) and was sorry for those whY in front who had to walk all the way back to the toilets...
