Hey all, just booked my first SQ longhaul flight in J and very excited (been flying too much UA). I'm flying JFK-FRA-JFK in December and looking for some feedback regarding the menu options. Always open to trying new things, typically go with beef/chicken/fish and avoid pasta, my favorite in-flight meals are the ANA Japanese meals to/from NRT. Here are the choices:
JFK-FRA- U.S. Grilled Prime Beef Fillet
- NY Sirloin Steak
- Pecan Crusted Veal
- Braised Short-Ribs
- Roast Rack of Lamb
- Pan-Fried Chicken
- Roasted Chicken Rice and Pak Choy
- Stir-fried Chicken in Chinese Wine
- Grilled Shrimps and Scallops
- Roasted Sea Bass
- Baked Chilean Bass
FRA-JFK- Beef Fillet, cafe de Paris butter, baked potato with sour cream, roasted vegetables, 1/2 grilled tomato
- Artichoke-tomato crusted loin of lamb in thyme sauce, French beans with bacon, and gratin potatoes
- Lamb Rendang with vegetable in coconut milk and steamed rice
- Suckling pig with dark beer sauce, savoy cabbage and potato wedges
- Bresse chicken with morel polenta, roasted zucchini, asparagus and jus.
- Chicken in Thai masaman curry with vegetables and steamed rice
- Honey glazed duckling with vegetables and Chinese egg noodles
- Halibut in lime sauce with poached dill potatoes and vegetable diamonds
Thanks so much!
