According to the release, the Union says the average is £16k not £21 to £25k as stated on the link you posted. If that is really the case, then this is hugely misleading and perhaps even a matter of bait and switch. It definitely needs to be independently investigated for the sake of BA and prospective applicants as well as current employees.
