I fully understand the OP not wanting to sit in the CW seat and demanding the flat bed that was purchased, but if someone is going to be downgraded, it is surely still better to sit the CW seat than accept a downgrade (in comfort terms that is, I'm sure compensation would be a different matter!)
No, because with BA being the badly-behaved entity it is at the moment, it more likely that you will be able to get meaningful compensation for IDB or invol downgrade - if you just roll over and stay in the seat then you are going to get stiffed...
