You can tell that they definately improved the pitch, especially for row 1. I was on a flight 2 weeks ago, and being 6'2" I wasn't looking forward to row 1, but even with my legs stretched out, I could not touch the bulkhead unless I slouched in my seat. There were probably 2-3 inches between the bottom of my shoe and the wall. You can also see that there is a hole in the side wall panel down towards the bottom where something from the seats used to go into that is now showing.

It was so odd to walk onto one of those and see coach seats in front of 2L, considering I was on the last westbound flight on a 757 into LAX on 1/2/04 and we had a F24 bird.
