just wondering if it's possible to book an awards flight w/ Aeroplan for a premium economy flight as opposed to business/first class or economy?

While I finally have enough points to go to South America (leaning towards Avianca due to lower admin/scam charges), I was thinking if maybe it's better to go Premium Economy?
I haven't see such an option on the Aeroplan site though... is that something that has to be called in for?
Or am I crazy for even thinking that?

My points would be pretty much wiped out with this one trip and I thought maybe going PE would let me go to Iqaluit at some point down the road.

Well thanks in advance!
I recently booked a pair of TATL Premium Economy seats via Aeroplan, so it's definitely doable. I wasn't aware, however, of the on AC metal only requirement, so thanks to Jasper2009 for the Lesson of the Day.

Premium Rouge on a 767 is sold as J in North America (e.g. YYZ-LAS) and as PY internationally (e.g. YYZ-BCN). I agree it could be more clear...
