I have a stay at the weekend that went slightly wonky, because somehow my partner's name ended up on the reservation and mine had disappeared. But I had made the reservation and prepaid it myself, I just put her name on the reservation as my guest. The hotel (HIX Nuremberg City - Hauptbahnhof) sorted it out on check in (I think), but it still looked a bit odd on check out because my name ended up as guest with her as the main name.
The stay has posted in a pending state, which is a good sign. However, it says "non qualifying stay" which is a bit worrying, so I hope it will sort itself out by the time it posts properly. It's only worrying because I am counting on the nights to complete the current Accelerate promotion!
I think there isn't any concerns based on my experiences. So far for my last few stays, it will post on the next day as "Pending Stay" with "Non-qualifying Stay". When it is finally shown up with the points, it will be updated to Qualifying Stay given that the rates that I have booked are eligible for points.
