I can tell you from experience that BA is very, very wary of any copyrighted medium being played through its equipment without the copyright holders' permission.
A few years ago, an American Airlines friend sent me a video on tourism in Alaska including details on trekking in Denali National Park, Whale Watching, the Alaska Railroad and a whole wealth of information to help plan our holiday.
I put the video on a USB memory stick and played it during my break during a night shift at work. A few weeks later, I was called into the Cargo manager's office to explain why I had played a copyrighted film through the work computer. Fortunately, the AA pilot was the film-maker and owned the copyright so when I showed my manager the email from him with its attachment, all was forgiven!
