this is getting rather interesting. While I feel for those who is a victim of these co-share traps (me myself is one who booked on PE from SIN-AKL on SQ on a 086 (NZ) ticket) and only earn in Y and it is non NZ metal, making it ineligible for my SP (the 810 SP on NZ)....

but for most non frequent flyer, they just need to get to a destination, and they do not care who flies them there or what kind of aircraft the flight is operating in (a lot of us would care for example if it is 763 VS 772/77W on TT flights to SYD/MED/BNE etc.) but the reality is, there is a much bigger group out there that just purely looks for the cheapest fare. they don't care about SP, don't care about APD, don't care about anything to do with FFP but get what they are paying for, in Y, PE or J.....
