Yeah, but remember this was just a 1000 pt signup offer just a few years ago, and then they bumped it up to 1500/1600, back down to 1000, and then back up again, before putting it at 2000 signup bonus. It's fluctuated a lot but it's been most stable and longest offering at 2000 for past 2 years. So, I can't foresee it getting any better than 2000 points, and at most maybe they'll bring back the FYF, in say half a year's time.
People who aren't already collecting Air Miles should stay away from this program, unless you're one of the 10% (or fewer) who can make it work for you, value-wise. Go for the other Amex cards instead.
