Fair enough. For me its just a cash value which now is about $135, besides the spend is just too much on Amex for me. I have points which I have difficulty redeeming for a fair value. Last year I did redeem for hotel stays which came to about 1.2 c or so with tremendous risk. I don't know about air-travel but accommodations can not be changed once booked. That sucks. I was trying to bulk up with more miles for hotels for the next year's vacation. Looking at the properties I was prepared to book just yesterday, I have noticed that the required miles for these went up almost 100 % from my search last month for the same hotel. I will not waste my money expenditures and effort on this lousy program.
