More like an hour to Holborn (closest station) than 50 minutes really , but definitely take the Piccadilly line .. it's the best option really .. It won't be busy on 2nd January

Taking the train to Paddington and then getting a taxi will not be much faster (if at all ) and it will definitely cost a lot more
