As a PE or a 1K you are allowed to check up to 3 bags on UA. I recently flew out on UA and checked my 3 bags. My return ticket had a UA flight number, but was operated by US. I went to the US ticket counter at IAH and was told that US does not recognize my UA 1K status and I would have to pay the $80.00 for execess baggage. The only benefit of the code share is that you will get your UA miles on US. Sometimes you can board early. This is not a true code share. I urge all PE & 1K's to write UA and complain.
