I am in a similar position as previous poster who already has a Business Platinum Card as well as a Business Gold Card and received the click thru link offering 50,000 MR points with $10K spend over 5 months to upgrade the Business Gold Card to Business Platinum (thereby giving me a second Biz Platinum Card). However, unlike the previous poster I received a message saying I need to call customer service when I tried to login in with my AMEX User ID and Password.
Then when I tried calling Customer Service they stated they could not see the offer and couldn’t offer any suggestions. Then I saw on another forum someone was successful logging in with the Business Card Number, CID and Last 4 of SSN. Below is the link:

When I did this I received the following obscure error message:
“Exception while updating cardDetails into CardData Object”
Needless to say the upgrade did not go through. Anyone else have a similar problem or success getting around these error messages?
The “Upgrade Now” offer of 50,000 MR points still shows in my “Amex Offers and Benefits” when logging into the Business Gold Rewards card it’s just I can’t get the system to process the upgrade.
