sorry to advise that with 2 reservations with two different carriers, you ll have to pay excess bagage charges. If it s just 5 extra Kilos, i m pretty sure that it would not be a problem but with your AF ticket , i think the maximum is 23 kg.... it s a lot less that you 2 * 35 kg !
