I've taken the same flight, with the same meal and same flight duration, several times before, and there's never been any problem fitting in the trolley service. There was still plenty of time for some ipad-prodding up front though ...
Honey. add my name to the list. Are you naturally shy? That I understand but short though the flight may be, you should have said something. You must have seen them take the meal trolley back, you could have said something then or indeed use the call button. It's there for a purpose, to call the crew.
