Headed to Japan with voucher in hand. For someone that is more experienced what should be the process to get from NRT to Tokyo?

It sounds like land, immigration and bags. Then can pick up my wifi and where exactly do I go to exchange voucher? And Nex train to Tokyo. Then transfer or take subway to where I need to be?
