Just put in AKL-DPS on the NZ website....Selected the NZ connection to Garuda both ways... Right underneath the price quoted it said...

Where is the confusion?

Being able to book non partner interlined flights on one PNR is a BENEFIT in many ways (baggage!).....and many airlines offer it....
