No, they were just making that up. The first opportunity they have to not clean your room is the next day (unless they will now provide the opportunity to book an uncleaned room). There are a lot of pitfalls with this program and differs by labor market. I feel safe in saying most housekeeping staff is part-time at best and likely to be contracted out worse case. Reducing the number of rooms that need to be cleaned can be a real money saver for the property and to fight giving the points doesn't make a lot of sense.
