I confess that I wasn't aware of Ondine until your post (I usually have greek and chinese food in MEL, both fabulous, and don't really look for fine French cuisine there, though I love it dearly). Ondine is great, now that I have eaten there. Easily triple the price in Paris for the same experience. Not quite as good as Lucas-Carton but close enough to be compared to it. Thank you! Sad to hear that they have closed, but I am not too surprised (MEL is a great city, but not quite up to supporting this kind of restaurant).
