I have always liked Kin Lom Chom Saphan (Samsen Soi 3) quite near the last one on the list.
I'll be spending a lot more time by the river soon. Maybe I can find a few more to post too.
There's also the Royal Navy resto with a patio over the river just to the south of Tha Chang (across the street from Wat Phra Kaeo). Food is definitely not tourist Thai and not expensive for the location. Wide ranging menu contains English listings as well.
Location is the building to the south of the entrance/exit to Tha Chang. Access from the parking lot on the south side, mid-building.
