I'm pretty sure the charger is exactly the same size as the 65w charger always was.

We just received the first couple of these, they will be replacing 2011/2012 MacBook Air and 13" MacBook Pro models and will also be available to so-called "non-core users" who aren't in departments that already have Macs but have no Windows specific application needs.

The appearance is nice (all space gray) the display is excellent although one of the units appears to have a cluster of stuck pixels, the keyboard is significantly improved over the 12" MacBook and the SSD is much improved too, the Wi-Fi seems stronger on my Mid-2015 though (my girlfriend also complained about the Wi-Fi in her MacBook non-Pro), however the loss of Magsafe is going to claim one of these before the end of the year, I am sure of it. The USB-C charger sits uncomfortably tightly in the port and the machine sort of creeks if you push on it.

I'm not sure how big of an issue the dongles will be, the Mac IT lead points out that the Retina MacBook Pros required dongles for ethernet and nobody seemed to object.

The users who receive this machine will be provided with one of these but not immediately, there are some concerns about two models of Samsung monitor acting wonky over HDMI: https://www.kensington.com/us/us/449...bc-mobile-dock

Price however is a bit of a sticking point, on large orders the price difference between the 13" MacBook Air and 13" MacBook Pro is going to be pretty glaring.
