and the old ones just dispensed Nestles intstant coffee, while calling it expresso or cappacino. Its hard to believe they could make it much worse...but enforced sugar would do the trick.

Shame on you United----an upgrade would mean swithcing to one of the machines that actually grind coffee beans and makes real expressos and cappacinos.
