Arrived at 2 - 30 pm , room not ready so given the identical one next door, I booked a double guest room and was preupgraded to a king deluxe plus room, it's nothing amazing, it's a little tired and the floorboards creek bigtime!, however the bed is a huge super king ( easy the size of the j.suite beds at Canary Wharf) and comfy, bathroom dated but functional and clean, view is rubbish and no mini bar or diamond water......its on the 4th floor and the lifts are slow.
So far I'm reasonably happy, I booked cash and points @ £32 & 12k and think the room is worth it.
Car park is small but I'm in the trinity multi storey across the road @ £13 which I think is reasonable.
Went for a walk around the high street and it's a busy buzzing place, reminds me of London Town.
Now gonna try gym then swim and sauna.....will report back!
