But Burger King is authentic American food....but it's bad American food.
No, Burger King does not offer authentic American food. It offers a poor inauthentic reproduction of American food. You could say that Burger King is authentic unto itself, but not traditional American food. In the case of fast food reproduction of real food, location doesn't matter quite as much.
