Really surprised how much this hotel is disliked. I guess each person has their own experience, pretty crappy that management is going to argue something as trivial as best room. I've never had anything but good experiences here. Minus the dated rooms, it's my favorite hotel in the NorCal region. Stayed for a single night back in April on points and the hotel was booked solid... so they put me in one of their freshly remodeled Grande Suites. Am greatly disappointed the club will be closed over New Years, was looking forward to the views for fireworks. May make an attempt to visit again next year (last year as a top-tier member).
