I assumed OP was looking for a total experience. I spend 1/2 my time (non-business) in Paris. Once one gets there, its all sweetness and light. On the way back, one really could care less about AA, other than weather at the connection point. But, sometimes, getting there is less than NO fun in getting to the most romantic place on Venus, Mars, or Earth, and can get a dream trip off on a REALLY bad start. IMHO

A Crap GA/A Crap AC staff/A CRAP crew is still crap-for whatever the reason. IMHO
