So, it's deteriorated since it opened then. I had a personal email from the GM after I reviewed this hotel on TA and gave it my lowest score for a SPG hotel with detailed reasons why.

My main point was that derisory treatment of SPG members means that the hotel will be destined to rely on tour groups. Seems like that's its comfortable position even though it gets more revenue from SPG members per room compared to people in tour groups who generate a lower net rate per room.
