Sleeveless jackets are not that uncommon. It may be 35 degrees outside .... but inside many wear an extra layer to protect against excessive aircon. Granted that neither DMK nor BKK fall into the over airconditoned category.

As for original question, TG often have reasonably priced domestic fares to main destinations (eg CNX) and are not so strict so they could be an option too.
