While I would have strongly preferred an earlier flight, the only reason I chose this one was because it was truly a great price - all other flights RT were running between $1,499 - $1,600. This flight was under $700 RT. I hadn't seen it prior, nor since. As long as she is at her destination by the 9th, she will be fine. And while she is not super experienced, she has flown on her own before, and we will discuss "what if's" before she leaves.
How old is your daughter? The concourse at DTW is very long - even within the same terminal, it can be a hike between gates. At the very least, I would look at the terminal map with her. Make sure she understands how to find the gate number for the next flight (phone app, departure boards, ask a GA...). There is a monorail that stops at either end of the terminal, and in the middle. In my experience, it is frequently faster to walk once you factor in the time going up/down the escalator, waiting for the train to arrive, and potentially doubling back to walk to a gate between stops.
