Being a member of Mileage Plus, in itself, does not grant early boarding. If you have Premier Status (Gold, etc), you get early boarding. You also get early boarding if you are sitting in the First Class or Business Class cabin. You also get boarding if you can show a baby, wear a uniform, or be disabled (at least at the gate). If you don't fall into one of these categories, a Mileage Plus member boards in groups 3, 4, or 5.
