My favourite character as a kid was Winne-the-Pooh and I seem to be taking after him as a "Bear of little brain".....
I know that the new method of calculating EQMs is "special" and I have searched for enlightenment in other threads but am still confused.
Maybe someone can help out (I can hear the groans from here as you think of some clueless newbie...)
I recently flew LHR-ORD-RDU in Business and then First.
LHR-ORD was booked in I
ORD-RDU was booked in A
When the miles showed up:
LHR-ORD was 2x EQM's (7906) and it showed as C on the statement
ORD-RDU was 1.5x EQMs (971) but showed up on the statement as Y?
I then flew, on a different ticket RDU-MIA-PTY.
RDU-MIA in A
MIA-PTY in D
RDU-MIA showed up in the statement as Y with 1.5 EQMs
MIA-PTY showed up in the statement as C with 2x EQMs
On the table for travel between Aug 1 and Dec 31 it shows D as getting 2x EQMs...so why am I only getting 1.5x?????
I have no status yet (doing the Plat challenge - which I should complete on my way back to MIA).
I am sure there is a rational explanation, but I am not seeing it....
Thanks for your help.
