Something I've found interesting lately is that DL is not opening up the first row on the two-seat side of MDs until basically the gate, whereas this used to open up at T-24.

I know those seats are held back from pax with disabilities, but they are some of my favorite in the fleet and it used to be nice to grab them in advance as a PM.

What I'm now noticing is that C+ upgrades or standby pax are being cleared into them instead. So...one advantage of clearing into C+ at the gate instead of in advance?

OTOH, I've had more empty middles next to me in C+ since the UG change than ever before.

(I know this is a very minor gripe, but seeing your C+ upgrades on some of the same routes I fly just made me think of it.)
