Seats on Air NZ flights on a SQ ticket are not able to be selected online, unless you have the Air NZ booking reference (different to SQ booking reference and ends in H). If you have the Air NZ booking reference then it may be able to select seats on the Air NZ website - this doesn't always work in my experience. The Air NZ booking reference is typically not shown on the itinerary (but may be if booked via a travel agent). Otherwise need to go through Air NZ call centre or travel agent.
