I just had this problem in Chicago. The door to the bathroom is a sliding frosted glass door. It looked nice, but it kept me up when my GF would get ready for the day early in the morning. I had get out my eye shades when the light was on, so I could sleep in. Surely there can be a way to have the door look nice and still block the light.
