I called my UK bank today and looks like I bought my tickets too early. £980 pending on my account and by today's Visa exchange rate it would be £830. That's for CAI-BKK F on Qatar site. Bought my second ticket two hours later and exchange rate dropped and I used GBP to minimise further surprises.

They said it will probably stay the same and won't change but to call tomorrow. I asked if I can block it and heard the same: call tomorrow to confirm and we can block it then if you don't want to proceed.
